10 DAYS KENYA MID-RANGE BUSH SAFARI AND BEACH RELAXATION PRIVATE SAFARI

Day 1: Nairobi to Maasai Mara National Reserve

At 6 o’clock you will be picked up from your Nairobi Hotel or airport and commence the drive to Maasai Mara via the great rift valley view point where you will have a breathtaking view of the floor of the rift valley where you will get to view the volcano mountains which are semi- active like Mt Longonot, Suswa and Margret for 10mins.Thereafter embark your journey. Arrive at the hotel in time for lunch. Check in and have lunch. Later commence on your afternoon game drive in search of the wildlife e.g. The Big 5 animals not forgetting to look for the nocturnal hunters coming out from their day slumber to start their hunts alongside you will see zebras, antelopes among other wildlife. Capture the evening Sunset especially if the clouds are clear at 6pm. Return back to the hotel for a sumptuous buffet dinner ending with good time for resting at the lodge.

Day 2: Full Day Game Drive in Maasai Mara Reserve

Have breakfast at 6:30 am and at 7 am, leave for a full day game viewing in the park. On this day, spend the full day exploring Maasai Mara in search of the big five, hippos and Nile crocodile. Thereafter, go for picnic lunch in park under a croton tree shade overlooking the vast landscape of the park.

It is in the Mara that perhaps the most spectacular event of the natural world takes place: the great migration. This is the annual migration of millions of wildebeest and zebra from the Serengeti (in Tanzania) in search of water and pasture. Following on their heels are the predators of the savanna – lions, cheetahs, jackals, hyenas and vultures.

Day 3: Maasai Mara – Lake Nakuru National Park
Early morning breakfast and thereafter check out and proceed to Lake Nakuru arriving in time for lunch at hotel. After lunch, proceed for an afternoon game drive in the park where you expect to see the endangered species of the white rhino, Rothschild giraffe , flamingoes, tree climbing lions and many more wildlife.

Day 4: Lake Nakuru – Amboseli National Park
Early morning breakfast at 6am, check out and drive to Amboseli national park using the trans African highway. You will have a few stop overs for bathroom breaks since it’s a 6 hour car ride and later Check in at your hotel Amboseli have lunch and a short rest. Afternoon game drive 3.30pm in search of its popular residents the elephants and also if lucky get to see the predators and their opponents like the Zebra, Wildebeest, Giraffe, Hippo with a view of Mt Kilimanjaro.

Day 5: Amboseli National Park Full day
After breakfast at the camp, Full day spend in the park with packed lunch in search of its popular residents like the well-known predators and their opponents like the Zebra, Wildebeest, Giraffe, Hippo with a view of Mt Kilimanjaro. Later return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
 

Day 6: Amboseli – Tsavo West National Park

Breakfast at the camp at 6.30am and thereafter depart and drive to Tsavo West National with game drive enroute arriving in time for lunch at your hotel. After lunch, proceed for an afternoon game drive in the park.
Tsavo West through the Shetani Lava flow with a brief stopover to marvel at the lava cones and the barren land. Proceed to enter Tsavo West through the Chyulu gate and drive on to the Mzima Springs to see hippo sanctuary hoping to see the endangered black rhino among other animals .

Day 7: Tsavo West – Diani
Early morning breakfast at 6am with a check out and do a game drive enroute out of the park and commence your journey to Diani with lunch on the way. Arrive Diani in the late afternoon.

Day 8 & 9: Full day relaxation
Spend full day relaxing at the resort or at the beach or swimming pool.

Day 10: Depart to Nairobi
