No. Most wildlife viewing takes place from your private 4×4 Land Cruiser, although you should be comfortable with several hours of driving and getting in and out of the vehicle.

Yes, you will travel with an experienced driver-guide and follow the park’s wildlife-viewing and safety rules throughout the safari. You must remain inside the vehicle except at lodges and designated stopping areas.

The package includes private 4×4 Land Cruiser transport, an English-speaking driver-guide, two nights’ mid-range accommodation, meals listed in the itinerary, park fees, game drives, drinking water, and Nairobi pick-up and drop-off. Optional activities, drinks, tips, personal expenses, and the luxury accommodation upgrade are not included.

The road journey normally takes about four to five hours, depending on traffic and road conditions. We collect you from your Nairobi hotel or the airport and include suitable stops along the way.

You will stay at Penety Amboseli Resort or a comparable mid-range property if it is unavailable for your dates. You may request a luxury lodge or tented-camp upgrade, subject to availability and an additional charge.

Amboseli is particularly known for its large elephant herds, but you may also see lions, cheetahs, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, hippos, hyenas, and abundant birdlife. Wildlife sightings are natural and therefore cannot be guaranteed.

Mount Kilimanjaro is often most visible in the early morning or late afternoon, particularly when the sky is clear. Cloud cover can obscure the mountain, so a clear view cannot be guaranteed on every departure.
